Have you seen our new look? Our new feature-rich Web site launched on January 28th, allowing the foundation to stay better connected to donors, patient families, medical staff, and other interested in and committed to supporting the life of Children’s Hospital.
"Our Web site is an integral component of the foundation's donor outreach program,” explains Sarah Andrews, director of donor relations. “With the expanded capability of the new site, we can effectively strengthen the bond between our donors and the mission of Children's Hospital."
With significant improvements in functionality and new tools within the Web site, we will be able to communicate more effectively and more efficiently with all of our constituents, including donors, grateful families, volunteers, and medical staff. With the ability to register directly on the site, our supporters can share their preferences with us, and we can accommodate them. Some people prefer that we save postage and communicate with them electronically; some of our supporters prefer printed publications. And some people want a mix of the two. Our new Web site allows us to capture and use this information accordingly.
Nadine de Coteau, director of program services and manager of the Web site redesign project, shares her excitement about the new site. “Why now? The reality is that the world has changed. The Internet is not just for teenagers and techies anymore. The fastest growing segment of people on line is those aged 55+. People have expectations of what they can do online and what an organization's online presence should be. Our new site aspires to meet those expectations.”
Log on to our Web site to do all of the following: make an online donation, register to receive regular e-newsletters, submit a donor or patient story, register for upcoming events, and email staff. Stay up-to-date on the Campaign to Rebuild Children’s Hospital, read the latest foundation news, hear grateful family and donor stories, and learn about all of the ways to support Children's Hospital.
