Campaign Priorities

The Campaign for Children’s will improve the health and well-being of our entire community by raising funds to invest in the hospital’s growth.

The centerpiece of the Campaign for Children’s is the building of a new state-of-the-art medical center. The new Children's Hospital will provide multi-specialty medical and preventative services with the latest technology, integrate quality services with research and teaching, and provide an exceptional experience for child and family.

Envisioned components of the new hospital

We are designing an operationally efficient, technically and environmentally advanced, seismically safe, secure and family-friendly facility. The new hospital campus will include the full array of services now offered at Children’s, including the regional pediatric trauma center, neo-natal and pediatric intensive care units, rehabilitation and the other services for which Children’s is known. This design will allow Children’s to consolidate many of our outpatient clinical services in a central campus, and will incorporate up-to-date equipment and the best practices in family-centered pediatric hospital design, such as all private rooms and space for parents to stay overnight.
