Marsha is a veteran injury prevention specialist. She has been in the field for over 15 years. Certified as a Child Passenger Safety Technician in Sept. 1998, she went on to become an Instructor in July 2000 and furthered her injury prevention knowledge by becoming certified as a technician for children with special healthcare needs in July 2001. Marsha truly has a passion for injury prevention. She has taught child passenger safety to professionals, parents and caregivers throughout the US and in American Samoa. Marsha has spoken at many local and state injury prevention conferences and is available for speaking/teaching. Marsha’s most recent accomplishment was the development of a comprehensive injury prevention program at the local trauma hospital in Santa Rosa. Marsha is currently working at Children’s Hospital Oakland fitting special needs children with car seats and organizing community car seat checks.
