Your vital support raises money to increase local public awareness of Rett Syndrome, supports treatments for those living at Katie's Clinic for Rett Syndrome at Children's Hospital Oakland, and funds research for treatment and, ultimately, a cure.

3rd Annual St. Baldrick's Event
Shaving the Way to Conquer Kids' Cancer

Because children with cancer typically undergo treatments that cause their hair to fall out, volunteers offer to shave their own heads in public as a bold act of solidarity. These volunteers collect donation pledges from friends and family, and their generous gifts help fund lifesaving childhood cancer research.
You can join the fun — and help raise funds! Make a commitment to shave your head and ask your family, friends and co-workers to make a pledge. If you're not ready for a shave, there are also other ways you can participate.
