What's Next?

Children’s Hospital Oakland currently has the largest pediatric music therapy program in the Bay Area. The Jared Kurtin Music Therapy Program’s future plans:

• Provide music therapy to more children in all departments
  
  
• Create a model integrated music therapy teaching and research program that will benefit the broader community and region
  
  
• Develop the first training and internship program in the Bay Area
  
  
• Continue medical research into the benefits of music
