Hedco Foundation
The Hedco Foundation is a generous supporter of the research center at Children’s Hospital.  Striving toward the highest standard of excellence and innovation, Children’s research center facilitates multidisciplinary collaboration in its Centers of Excellence. Through a grant from the Hedco Foundation, the research center’s cellular therapy program was able to purchase a cell sorter, a critical piece of equipment used in the understanding of cellular mechanisms of disease and in designing novel therapies. 

The California Endowment
The California Endowment has been a supporter of Children’s since 1999. Since then, the Endowment has funded several hospital programs including FACES for the Future since 2004 and research programs in the hospital’s research center.  FACES for the Future is a three-year internship program that introduces underrepresented minority high school students to the health professions.  
 
The California Wellness Foundation
The California Wellness Foundation has been a supporter of Children’s since 1995 and has funded several of the hospital’s programs including FACES for the Future in 2003 and 2006.

Wayne and Gladys Valley Foundation
The Wayne and Gladys Valley Foundation has been a generous supporter of capital projects within the research center at Children’s Hospital.

S.D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation
Through a grant from the S.D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation, researchers from Children’s were able to compile and synthesize global expert opinion on appropriately measuring and interpreting bone densitometry of children and teens in the clinical setting. 

Thomas J. Long Foundation
The Thomas J. Long Foundation has supported numerous programs at Children’s since 1998 including the Center for Child Protection, FACES for the Future, and the Division of Pulmonary Medicine.

The Lakeside Foundation
The Lakeside Foundation has been a supporter of Children’s since 1978.  Their generous contribution for the past 30 years enables Children’s to continue serving a growing patient population.

The William Randolph Hearst Foundation
The Hearst Foundation has supported programs at Children’s since 1975.  Programs supported by the Hearst Foundation have included the Parent-Infant Program, Center for Child Protection, and Children’s research center.
