Tina has been with Alameda County for 21 years. The last 9 years has been with Emergency Medical Services Senior Injury Prevention and Childhood Injury Prevention. Tina Maria discusses with older adults how to prevent falls, driving safely and personal emergency preparedness. She also goes into the elementary schools of Alameda County and educates children on safety while riding a wheeled vehicle and on the bicycle helmet law. Tina Maria is also a Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST). As a technician she provides education and demonstrates the correct usage of child passenger safety seats within the community.
