Children's Hospital & Research Center Foundation is fortunate to be affiliated with two volunteer-run auxiliaries dedicated to raising funds to support our mission and raising awareness of pediatric health issues.
With a tradition of service dating from 1914, Children's Hospital Branches is a network of volunteer women auxiliaries that advocate for Children’s in the community. Operating as its own 501(c)3 organization, Branches raises approximately $1 million annually to seed new programs and provide ongoing support for virtually every department and division at the hospital.
Grateful FamiliesThe Grateful Families of Children's Hospital Oakland are the parents, grandparents, relatives, extended families, and friends of children who have been treated at Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland. Founded in 2003, the Grateful Families program enables families to express their gratitude to Children's Hospital by acting as donors, volunteers, advisors or ambassadors. Through fundraising and volunteer activities, their goal is to ensure that the hospital can continue to provide its life-giving care to children now and into the future.
