- About Us
Children's Hospital & Research Center Foundation is fortunate to be affiliated with volunteer-run auxiliaries dedicated to raising funds to support our mission and raising awareness of pediatric health issues.
With a tradition of service dating from 1914, Children's Hospital Branches is a network of volunteer women auxiliaries that advocate for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland in the community. Operating as its own 501(c)3 organization, Branches raises approximately $1 million annually to seed new programs and provide ongoing support for virtually every department and division at the hospital.
The Children's Health Guild is a group of Bay Area women who dedicate their time and talent to raise funds on behalf of UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and the George Mark Children's House. Originally founded as St. Luke's Junior Auxiliary based in San Francisco, the organization has raised funds for the last 40 years in support of women's and children's medical care and was re-launched in 2011 as the Children's Health Guild, a 501(c)3, independent, charitable organization providing financial support to two local pediatric medical facilities.
The Children's Health Guild is proud to support UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and George Mark Children's House because together they support emergency care, on-going treatment, respite, and palliative and end-of-life care for children.
